Alongside Metadiag©’s diagnostic engine, I modeled the 3D tractor components — cabins, suspensions, distributors and more — used to render interactive diagnostic views inside the tool. Each part was studied from the real object, modeled in SketchUp, optimized to keep the polygon count low enough for smooth real-time rendering, textured, and exported to DirectX for integration.
A hybrid between craft and job: the project where my long-standing personal interest in 3D graphics first met an industrial use case.
